DescriptionThe Renaissance School of Medicine, Stony Brook University, Department of Anesthesiology is recruiting for an Anesthesiologist with a Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia.
Stony Brook University Hospital is located 60 miles from New York City on Long Island's scenic North Shore. General Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery or other procedures and will provide consultation before and after the anesthetic procedure. Perform regional anesthesia and be part of the acute pain services team. The candidate will be actively engaged in the instruction and/or supervision of medical students, resident physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree
- Licensed, or, eligible for licensure in New York State
- Completed/soon to complete an ACGME accredited residency program in Anesthesiology
- Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Completed/soon to complete a Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia
