About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation across a modern, scalable environment. The ideal candidate has deep AWS expertise, strong automation skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with software engineering, security, and architecture teams.
This role is critical for driving reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across our cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using best practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Lead containerization & orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Improve deployment speed, reliability, and efficiency through automation.
- Ensure security best practices including IAM, VPC architecture, secrets management, encryption, and compliance.
- Optimize cloud costs, performance, scaling, and high availability across services.
- Collaborate with development teams during architecture planning, migrations, and production deployments.
- Take ownership of incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Expert-level AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, Route53, etc.).
- Strong proficiency with Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation/CDK.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking: VPC, subnets, NAT, DNS, load balancers, firewalls.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and version control.
- Deep experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and cloud governance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
- Experience with microservices & distributed systems.
- Experience with Zero-Downtime deployment strategies.
- Experience with multi-region, multi-account AWS setups.
