Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Clearwater, FL, for a Desktop Support Specialist. The role involves providing technical support to end-users, maintaining and troubleshooting desktop computers, and resolving hardware and software issues. The Desktop Support Specialist will also ensure office systems operate smoothly and contribute to resolving day-to-day IT-related challenges to support business operations effectively. Over time this role will have the ability to grow into a variety of Networking, Systems, Cloud & Security related responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in working with desktop computers and providing high-quality desktop support
- Strong experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues
- Hands-on expertise with printer setup, maintenance, and support
- Knowledge in managing and providing desktop support systems effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an on-site team environment
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT environments is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, or a related technical degree preferred
