IT Manager

Are you a driven IT leader ready to take ownership of technology operations in a fast-paced, growth equity private equity firm? As our IT Manager, you’ll be the hands-on force ensuring our systems are efficient, secure, and future-ready. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership and our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to support a high-performance team and keep our technology ahead in a dynamic global market. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-stakes environment and wants to make an outsized impact.
Responsibilities:
Secure the Infrastructure
- Monitor and manage network performance, cybersecurity tools (including Okta), permissioning, and endpoint security to protect sensitive financial data.
Support Growth & Onboarding
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding workflows with HR, ensuring a seamless experience and proper device and access setup for new hires.
Keep Us Running Smoothly
- Oversee core IT operations including desktop support, hardware deployment, and user account management for both in-office and remote employees.
Drive Systems Excellence
- Support implementation, optimization, and maintenance of critical systems including Microsoft 365, CRM tools, cybersecurity platforms, and file storage solutions.
Partner & Lead
- Collaborate with our MSP to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and high-quality service delivery across the organization.
Vendor & License Management
- Assist with IT vendor relationships, evaluate new tools, and track software licensing to ensure cost-effective, scalable solutions.
Communicate Clearly
- Maintain project and support status updates, ensuring visibility and alignment with stakeholders across the firm.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in information technology, ideally in a hands-on support or systems administration role
- Experience supporting both office-based and remote teams
- Strong understanding of IT security best practices and identity management systems
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in financial services or professional services (preferred)
