Join CAI as Our Next Director of Information Technology!

Are you a visionary tech leader ready to shape the future of a mission-driven organization? CAI is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead our digital transformation and drive innovation across our systems, platforms, and member services.
As CAI’s technology champion, you’ll architect and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy that empowers our staff, enhances member engagement, and strengthens our cybersecurity posture. You’ll lead the implementation of a new Association Management System (AMS), manage our Microsoft 365 environment, and integrate cutting-edge AI tools to elevate our operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Design and deliver a modern IT roadmap aligned with CAI’s mission and goals.
- Innovation & AI Integration: Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve member services and internal workflows.
- Systems Management: Oversee Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, website, financial systems, and more.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Lead enterprise security efforts, ensure GDPR and PCI DSS compliance, and proactively manage risk.
- Vendor & Project Oversight: Manage external partners, contracts, and budgets to ensure seamless IT operations.
- AMS Implementation: Spearhead the rollout of a new AMS platform, ensuring smooth integration and staff adoption.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degrees/certifications preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership, ideally in a nonprofit or membership-based organization.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft platforms, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity.
- Proven success implementing AMS platforms (NetForum, Protech, Mem360, etc.).
- Experience with AI tools and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication and leadership skills—you make tech accessible to all.
