We are seeking motivated, driven, individual to join our rapidly advancing company. We currently have an open position for an IT Service Engineer to function as a support specialist, providing end user support as well as working on server and infrastructure projects. You will be working on an 8+ person team environment, providing Tier II support and Systems Administration. This is a full-time, salaried position with health benefits and retirement benefits. IT Service Technician Job Responsibilities:
Escalation & Technical Support
- Provide escalation support for tickets, resolving issues across desktops, servers, and networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Windows Server, and desktop operating systems.
- Configure and support basic networking tasks such as switches, VLANs, firewalls, and connectivity.
- Assist with remote access solutions such as VPNs
- Manage and configure Azure solutions such as VDI's and Azure Servers.
- Work closely with other team members, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure quick and accurate resolution for clients.
- Act as technical expert for customers’ network
- Provide a consistently professional and upbeat customer service experience for all new and existing customers through professional phone and email interaction
- Provide timely resolution to technical tickets
- Provide upgrades and project recommendations to the account manager
Project Assistance
- Assist with IT projects and provide lead on some projects.
- Desktop and laptop deployments
- Office 365 migrations
- Server maintenance and upgrades
- New client onboarding
Essential Skills and Experience
- 2+ year in IT support and administration
- 2+ years Managed Service Provider experience preferred
- Experience with Autotask PSA, Datto RMM and IT Glue is a plus
- Experience with Office 365 and/or Microsoft Windows 10 / 11
- Associates degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or any other related field (MSCA, CCNA, etc.) is strongly preferred
Education:
- HS/GED required
- Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred or comparable work experience

- Works within company policy and is adaptive to changing process and procedures
- Conscientious time management and organization skills, follow-up and follow through
- Detail orientated with strong interpersonal skills along with ability to adjust to change
- Outstanding professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Create clear and concise technical documentation
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of IT Managed Service Provider industry
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment along with a positive attitude
- Eager to self-learn and take ownership of your career
- Must be proficient and fluent in the English language
- Desire to expand knowledge into more advanced areas
- Ability to research solutions and apply new skills on the job
Salary/Work Expectations:
- $65,000 - $75,000 salary (based on experience)
- Monday - Friday, standard business hours in our Plainfield office
- Occasional after hours and weekend work
- Expected to help support on-call initiatives after business hours
