Charney Division of Cardiology of NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks an outstanding cardiovascular clinician-educator with leadership experience and a commitment to excellent patient care, education and investigation to serve as the inaugural Director of Inpatient Cardiology at Bellevue Hospital Center - a major teaching hospital of NYC Health + Hospitals and NYU Langone Health.
In this new position you will collaborate with other section leaders (CCU, stepdown/telemetry, interventional, electrophysiology) the Chiefs of the Medicine and Cardiology services, and Bellevue leadership to establish an environment that promotes the highest quality patient care and a vibrant educational environment for fellows house staff medical students and ancillary healthcare providers. All clinical educational and research endeavors at Bellevue Hospital Center are fully integrated into the four hospital NYU Langone Health System (Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island) and the Manhattan VA Hospital. We are flexible to help promote your career development and growth as a full-time faculty member of the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Qualifications - Board certification in Cardiology
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of at least four (4) years experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and clinical skills as well as academic accomplishments.
