Buyer, you'll own the end-to-end management of direct and indirect purchase orders for a critical supplier portfolio. In this role, you'll ensure purchase order accuracy, maintain master data in our ERP, and work closely with Supply Planning, Sourcing, Quality, and other teams to keep our supply chain aligned to business needs. Candidates should ideally be located Leesburg, VA or willing to relocate to Leesburg, VA. What You'll Do: - Host weekly forums with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align open orders, delivery schedules, and expedite requests
- Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues, escalating as needed to ensure continuity of supply
- Receive and process master data updates related to supplier costs, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs) into the ERP
- Develop a supply plan across a portfolio within a site. Engage in capability building with suppliers as part of cross functional teams
- Execute orders per developed supply plan and coordinate with internal operation teams on pulling and shipping of raw materials
- Collect and consolidate data used for procurement KPIs as it pertains to overall supplier base performance and projected inventory targets
- Lead KPI report out and consolidation process among peers
- Responsible for reporting on individual suppliers' performance based on standard metrics in cross-functional forums
- Bridge tactical supplier action and performance to long-term supplier sourcing strategy
- Present weekly status reports for critical supply risks within supply and demand forums
- Responsible for the communication of forecast requirements to the supply base either for finished goods or for components and materials.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to communicate planned receipts and address prioritization needs
- Problem-solve challenges cross-functionally to support on time deliveries and maintain appropriate inventory health
- Drive procurement activities in alignment to on-time product launch strategy
- Support the procurement manager in driving continuous improvement of procurement processes and vendor performance metrics
What You Bring: - Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management highly preferred; or in lieu of degree, 8 years of equivalent experience will be considered in addition to the requirements below.
- Languages at least English
- Minimum of 4 years in a similar buying /production scheduling role
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications specifically power-point and excel
- Previous experience in supplier relationship management

Compensation: Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance considered. The typical pay range for this position is
$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
