Looking for a Caregiver in our home 7am-6pm EVERY Wednesday and Thursday. Must be in decent good physical condition (no back problems) due to maneuvering a 185lb, 50 year old, blind quadriplegic male. He can communicate, but may take some getting used to as his speech is muffled. Must be comfortable transporting him in his Van to the Casino/church and/or just out and about. He has a catheter and wears a diaper so no need to take him to the bathroom. You would be responsible for showering him and all aspects of his personal grooming. Although he's blind and wheelchair bound, he's overall happy (when he's not bored) and enjoys going to the casino to play penny slots, or trips out to get Starbucks and yogurt. The perfect candidate for the job is somebody that is genuinely a happy, caring, enthusiastic, reliable and a punctual person. Anything can be trained if you have the right personality. Review and possible raise after 6 months. PLEASE NOTE... THIS IS A W2 POSITION. NOT A 1099. NOT UNDER THE TABLE. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO HAVE PAYROLL TAXES DEDUCTED AND MUST BE LEGALLY ALLOWED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.
