This is prestigious position for those with technical experience. You may be retired. You can work part-time. Nighttime or weekends. Mostly daytime for infrared. If electrically inclined we can bring you up to electrical tech with pay around $125/hr. Assignments in various SoCal cities in various facilities - commercial, industrial or institutional.
Someone else opens electrical panels and the infrared inspector - from a distance -takes an IR snapshot and notates locations. The diagnostics and final report is done in our lab by an engineer.
You will be assigned to SoCal locations. Each takes from 1 day to 5 weeks. Assignments vary: hi rise office bldgs, 5 star resorts, hospitals, malls, manufacturers, treatment plants, universities, military bases, etc. Every one is a new experience.
Pay ranges from $40 to $75/hr + transit expenses + profit sharing + medical.
If you feel you can brave infernal inflated SoCal traffic and be welcomed wherever you go you will like this position.
Must be clean cut and articulate as you’ll be dealing with highly competent managers. No record. No visible tats.
