North County School of Driving has been helping California families raise safe, confident drivers since 1991, and we’re growing our team of part-time behind-the-wheel instructors throughout North County.
If you’re patient, encouraging, and enjoy working with young people, this is meaningful work you’ll look forward to. You’ll help new drivers build skills and confidence that last a lifetime, and you’ll be part of a friendly team that truly values you.
Pay: $24 to $31 per hour
Schedule: Flexible and negotiable. Our busiest times are weekday afternoons (3:30 to 5:30 PM) and weekends, when we prefer two sessions per weekend, each with at least two lessons. Want more hours? Just ask. They’re available upon request.
What we provide:
Full training, plus help preparing for the DMV instructor license test
Company cars equipped with dual brakes and mirrors
Supportive, experienced leadership from a school with more than 50 years of instruction experience behind it
A real team that makes a difference in our community
Must have a high school diploma.
A great fit for: Retirees, teachers, coaches, and anyone who loves mentoring young people. Instructors of all backgrounds are welcome, and bilingual candidates are a plus.
