The Hospitality & Provisions Associate is primarily responsible for preparing provisions, assisting guests and keeping The Bellevue’s public spaces ready throughout service.
This is not a traditional server position with assigned tables, and it is not a conventional kitchen position. The role combines cold-food assembly, guest assistance, clearing, glassware care, restocking, cleaning and general room readiness.
The right person naturally notices what needs to be done next and stays productively engaged without waiting for constant direction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assemble meats, cheeses, accompaniments, breads and desserts according to Bellevue presentation and portion standards
● Organize and complete provisions orders as tickets arrive
● Maintain food-safety, sanitation, refrigeration and allergen procedures
● Date, rotate and restock food products
● Keep the provisions area clean, orderly and ready for service
● Assist guests who need help carrying bottles, glasses or provisions
● Deliver completed provisions when appropriate
● Clear and reset tables without making guests feel rushed
● Collect, wash, polish and return glassware promptly
● Restock napkins, service supplies, food products and beverage-counter items
● Support the beverage team with clean glassware, ice, supplies and basic POS assistance
● Maintain the appearance of The Bellevue, Vault 25, The Parlor and public restrooms
● Assist with room setup and breakdown for music nights and private events
● Complete closing side work thoroughly
● Learn the wine list and service model well enough to answer basic guest questions and support the beverage counter
HOW SERVICE WORKS
Guests generally order and pay at the counter. The Bellevue does not use traditional assigned tables or long-running restaurant checks.
Every employee has a primary specialty, but the opening team is cross-trained. When there are no active provisions tickets, Hospitality & Provisions Associates immediately return to guest assistance, clearing, glassware, restocking, cleaning or closing preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Previous hospitality, food-service, catering, hotel or event experience preferred
● Food-handling or cold-food assembly experience is helpful
● Interest in wine and willingness to learn the Bellevue wine program
● Warm, observant and gracious approach to guests
● Strong cleanliness and organizational habits
● Ability to manage several priorities without losing attention to detail
● Comfort remaining active throughout most of a shift
● Dependable evening and weekend availability
● Willingness to clear, wash, polish, clean and restock without being prompted
● POS or cash-handling experience is helpful but not required
● Ability to work cooperatively across both provisions and beverage service
● Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable
SCHEDULE
The Bellevue initially operates Thursday through Sunday, primarily during late-afternoon and evening hours. Friday, Saturday, selected holidays, private events and closing availability are important.
WHAT WE VALUE
We are looking for someone who takes pride in the entire room—not merely one station. The right person is warm with guests, careful with food, quick to notice what needs attention and comfortable moving between provisions, guest care, glassware and room readiness.
