Now Hiring a Budget Analyst, to work in our main administrative office in Mt. Holly, Burlington County, NJ! This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for researching and analyzing budget variances on the monthly financial statements of the organization. Works on other projects as directed.
Salary: $55,000-$65,000/year.
Schedule: Full-time: 40 hours; ; Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; One-hour unpaid lunch
Responsibilities:
- Provides analytical and reconciliation support in the preparation of budget modifications
- Assist management in documenting and forecasting expenses
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with all levels of management to analyze expenses
- Participatory team member that shares knowledge and communicates analysis progress and issues as needed
- Analyzes financial information, makes journal entries and determines the most effective means of handling accounting transactions
- Participates in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports which accurately reflect the financial position of the agency
- Prepares and updates annual budget templates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Two plus (2+) years experience working in accounting or analysis preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, including multiple worksheet files; and word processing software
- Detail oriented, strong organization and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines
- Experience managing multiple priorities with ability to make changes when needed
- Experience working in a team environment
- Prior budget, forecasting, and expense experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel (knowledge of macros is a plus)
All positions required a valid driver's license in good standing
