Job Summary
The Bartender / Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive service while ensuring guests enjoy high-quality food, beverages, and hospitality. This position requires the ability to work both as a server and bartender, depending on business needs and scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to house standards.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, cocktails, and beverage offerings.
- Make recommendations and answer guest questions about food and drinks.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked bar and service areas.
- Complete opening, side-work, and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and responsible beverage service standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members.
- Follow restaurant policies, attendance expectations, and established service standards.
- Assist other team members when needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending and serving experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and standard drink preparation.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable handling cash, processing payments, and using a POS system.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Must meet applicable Indiana requirements for alcohol service and obtain any required permits or certifications.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of restaurant service.
