Title: Part-Time Event Space Tour & Sales Associate
Location: AB Event Center - 7059 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115
Schedule:
Tuesdays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Thursdays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Approximately 10 hours per week)
About the Position
AB Event Center is seeking a friendly, motivated, and professional Event Space Tour & Sales Associate to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable with light sales.
You will be the face of our venue — greeting potential clients, conducting tours, answering questions, and helping convert inquiries into bookings. When tours are not scheduled, you will assist with light housekeeping and maintaining the venue’s presentation.
Responsibilities
Schedule and confirm venue tours with prospective clients
Greet clients and provide professional, engaging venue tours
Clearly explain rental packages, pricing, policies, and availability
Answer questions and follow up with potential customers
Assist in closing sales and securing bookings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue
Perform light housekeeping duties when tours are not scheduled
Ensure the space is always presentation-ready
Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable discussing pricing and closing sales
Reliable and punctual
Basic computer and phone skills
Previous sales, hospitality, or event experience is a plus

Compensation
$17.75 - $22.5 (based on experience)
