We’re a growing startup looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to support our documentation and laboratory operations. If you enjoy learning, following clear instructions, and keeping accurate records, this role offers an opportunity to build practical skills and grow with our company.
Previous laboratory experience is not required. We’ll provide structured, hands-on training. We’re looking for someone who takes that training seriously, asks questions, and applies what they learn consistently.
* What you’ll do
- Read, learn, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Complete forms, logs, and other records accurately and on time.
- Organize documents and check paperwork for completeness and consistency.
- Assist with routine laboratory tasks, including preparing materials, and labeling samples.
- Follow safety and quality procedures and promptly report errors, unexpected results, or unclear instructions.
- Take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop.
Laboratory tasks are taught step-by-step and performed under the Lab Director’s supervision. They do not require advanced technical knowledge at the start, but they do require consistency and attention to detail.
* What we’re looking for
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, complete work.
- The ability to read written instructions, understand them, and follow them consistently.
- A willingness to take notes, retain new information, and apply training to future tasks.
- Comfort with routine paperwork and tasks that require repetition.
- Good organization, basic computer skills, and clear communication.
- Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to follow through on assigned work.
- Openness to feedback and personal growth.
Experience with documentation, administrative work, manufacturing, quality control, or laboratory tasks is welcome, but not required.
* Training and room to grow
You’ll gain practical experience in controlled documentation, quality procedures and laboratory operations while working closely with an experienced Lab Director. These skills can provide a strong foundation for a career in manufacturing, quality, or operations.
As our business grows, there may be opportunities to take on greater responsibility. Your progress will depend on demonstrated proficiency, reliability and initiative. We’ll provide training and feedback to support your development, and we’ll look for you to bring curiosity, effort, and a commitment.
* How to apply
Please submit your resume and a short note explaining why this role interests you. Include an example from work, school, or another setting where you learned a new process, followed detailed instructions, or maintained accurate records.
