Position Overview
We are excited to announce an immediate opening for an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our team specializing in Structural Steel construction. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment looking to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Apply knowledge of industry standards and specs for structural steel contractors
• Perform accurate takeoffs and bid proposals
• Coordinate shop drawings with foreman for fabrication
• Communicate effectively with field crew throughout erection
• Material procurement and delivery schedules
• Collaborate on bidding and project budgeting
• Manage project documents including Change Orders, RFI's, PO's, and MTR's
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with teammates, customers, and suppliers
Qualifications
• 3-5 year's as a PE/PM in the structural steel industry
• Experience in both residential and commercial construction
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office a plus
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but not required
