About us
Corporate Realty Group is a commercial brokerage with more than 30 years of experience representing tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers, in Los Angeles since 2002. Our principal also holds a California General Contractor’s license, which gives our clients real construction knowledge at the negotiating table. We’re building a San Diego presence and are looking for a licensed local salesperson to affiliate with us.
The opportunity
You’ll be an independent contractor affiliated with our firm, working with a principal broker based in Los Angeles. You’ll help with on-the-ground logistics on our San Diego assignments while building your own book of business under the firm.
Projects and assignments
- A major listing and lease assignment of approximately 200,000 square feet of commercial space in San Diego County, where you’d support local marketing, tours, and tenant outreach.
- Tenant representation and site selection for office, creative, technology, and flex users, backed by our design-build team on build-out planning.
- Public-sector and institutional advisory work, including occupancy planning and lease analysis.
- Your own clients and deals, which you’re welcome and encouraged to originate.
Services you’ll provide
- Be the firm’s local presence for property tours, site visits, broker events, and owner and tenant meetings.
- Support listing marketing, including broker outreach, market comps, and inquiry follow-up.
- Prepare market surveys, comparison matrices, and basic financial summaries.
- Coordinate with the principal broker on negotiations, letters of intent, and lease documents.
- Originate and close your own transactions.
- Work in compliance with DRE requirements and brokerage supervision.
Qualifications
- Active California real estate salesperson or broker license in good standing.
- [2+] years of commercial real estate experience (office, industrial, flex, or retail). Related backgrounds in property management or construction also considered.
- Strong San Diego market knowledge and relationships.
- Comfortable with Excel and market research tools, and self-directed when working with a remote principal.
- Public-sector or institutional experience is a plus.
Compensation
Commission-only independent contractor affiliation under a written agreement. We offer generous commission splits, to be discussed, based on the source of the business and your experience.
