Three Tone Enterprise is seeking an IT Manager to lead and strengthen our technology function. You’ll own the systems, infrastructure, and tools that keep our business running, from the network in our Katy facility to the platforms that connect us with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers like Amazon. You’ll keep everything secure, reliable, and in step with a fast-growing operation. Your work has an immediate impact on order flow, warehouse efficiency, data accuracy, and how quickly our teams can get things done.
This role is ideal for a hands-on IT leader who can set direction and still roll up their sleeves to fix what’s broken. You understand how technology supports a distribution and e-commerce business, appreciate the precision that EDI, inventory, and order systems demand, and pick up new platforms quickly. You’re organized, security-minded, and you keep systems documented and current.
You’ll thrive here if you like ownership and variety, and want to help shape how a growing company builds and scales its technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, hardware, software, and end-user support across office and warehouse environments.
- Oversee day-to-day help desk support, resolving user, device, and access issues quickly and keeping downtime to a minimum.
- Administer and support core business systems, including ERP, CRM, inventory and warehouse management, and accounting platforms.
- Support e-commerce and marketplace integrations, including Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, EDI connections, and data feeds with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Maintain warehouse technology, including barcode scanners, label printers, mobile devices, and Wi-Fi coverage across receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
- Own cybersecurity, including access controls, endpoint protection, patching, backups, email security, and user awareness training.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and test them regularly.
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, licenses, and subscriptions, negotiating pricing and terms within established guidelines and escalating larger agreements as needed.
- Plan and manage the IT budget, tracking spend and identifying cost-saving and consolidation opportunities.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and systems that improve efficiency and support growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, assets, user accounts, and procedures.
- Partner with operations, procurement, logistics, finance, and e-commerce to align technology with business needs and priorities.
- Contribute to improving IT processes, policies, and standards as the company scales.
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooter who diagnoses problems quickly across hardware, software, networks, and integrations.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and how to apply them in a small-to-mid-sized business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many open tickets, projects, and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Self-starter who follows through without needing to be chased.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, Active Directory or Entra ID, networking equipment, and common business and e-commerce platforms.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years in a lead or management role.
- Hands-on experience managing networks, servers or cloud infrastructure, endpoints, and user support.
- Experience administering business systems such as ERP, CRM, or inventory management platforms.
- Experience managing IT vendors, licenses, and budgets.
- Comfortable working across diverse systems and technologies. You learn quickly and don’t need to be a specialist in every tool to be effective.
- Documentation-disciplined, keeping system records, asset inventories, and procedures current.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Katy, TX, and respond to urgent issues outside regular hours when needed.
Preferred:
- Background in wholesale, distribution, warehousing, or e-commerce environments.
- Experience supporting a business where Amazon is a primary customer, including familiarity with Vendor Central, Seller Central, FBA, or EDI integrations.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode and RFID technology, or shipping and freight platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft 365, or ITIL.
