HVR Construction Inc. is seeking experienced, skilled carpenters who are knowledgeable in residential wood repairs, framing, and structural construction.
We are looking for individuals who know their trade, can work efficiently with minimal supervision, and take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship.
Job Responsibilities:
Termite damage and dry rot wood repairs
Fascia, rafter tails, corbels, and beam replacement
Structural framing and wood reinforcement
Patio covers, balconies, decks, and pergolas
Siding, exterior trim, and door jamb replacement
Floor joist, headers, and post replacement
Demolition and reconstruction of damaged wood structures
Reading measurements, cutting lumber, and installing wood materials accurately
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience preferred
Strong knowledge of framing and structural wood repairs
Ability to measure, cut, and install materials independently
Experience using circular saws, reciprocating saws, nail guns, and other power tools
Ability to identify damaged wood and determine appropriate repair methods
Reliable transportation
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
Must understand job-site safety practices
