Ascension Property Services, based in Palo Alto, CA, seeks an HVAC Senior Project Manager to lead complex, software-driven HVAC modernization projects. You will own project delivery from discovery through deployment, coordinating engineers, developers, and vendors to implement scalable, data-driven HVAC solutions. This client-facing role blends technical HVAC knowledge with IT and SaaS project management, ensuring integrations, timelines, and budgets are met while driving innovation in a collaborative, growth-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HVAC software implementation projects for commercial clients, from planning through deployment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and resource plans using agile and traditional PM methodologies
- Manage client communication, requirements gathering, and expectation setting throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary
- Ensure integration of HVAC control systems with existing IT infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Monitor project KPIs, prepare status reports, and present updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement by refining PM processes, tools, and documentation
- Guide junior PMs and technical staff through mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security practices, and client SLAs
