The Role:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and career-focused individual to provide direct support to our lead service department estimator/special projects engineer. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple aspects of the business, with the goal for professional growth and advancement into a full-time, permanent role based on performance.
What You Will Do:
• Learn the roofing trade alongside experienced colleagues by visiting and observing active projects, as well as inspecting roofs that need service.
• Independently visit job sites to inspect commercial roofs.
• Meet with clients, clarify their needs, and document jobsite conditions.
• Capture clear, detailed roof inspection data (photos, notes, measurements, observations).
• Summarize findings in a clean, organized format so our estimators can develop solutions and proposals.
• Learn our process inside and out, with the long-term goal of stepping into estimating, project management, and/or sales.

What we’re Looking For:
• Someone ready to learn and is serious about growing in the company.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A strong communicator – both in person and in writing.
• Basic construction or roofing knowledge preferred.
• Comfortable on low slope rooftops
o Flat, typically 1° slope (on rare occasions up to 27° slope)
o Typically 15ft-50ft building height
o (thorough safety training and practice to be provided)
• Basic computer skills:
o Windows
o Outlook
o Microsoft suites (word & excel especially)
o Mobile apps
o Taking photos
• Required: Driver’s license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record
