As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of IT to lead technology initiatives, optimize business systems, and support company-wide growth.
Position Overview
The Director of IT will be responsible for developing and executing the company's technology strategy while overseeing infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems. This individual will play a critical role in maximizing the value of NetSuite ERP across the organization while ensuring alignment between technology investments and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep experience managing enterprise technology environments in retail and a proven track record of NetSuite implementation, optimization, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the organization's IT strategy, roadmap, and technology initiatives.
- Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for NetSuite ERP, including ongoing enhancements, integrations, reporting, and user support.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and Executive Leadership to identify and implement scalable technology solutions.
- Manage IT infrastructure, cloud applications, networks, cybersecurity, and system performance.
- Oversee third-party vendors, consultants, and technology service providers.
- Develop and enforce IT governance, security policies, disaster recovery planning, and compliance standards.
- Lead ERP-related projects, upgrades, implementations, and integrations with business-critical applications.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Manage technology budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, data visibility, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within retail, e-commerce, consumer products, or multi-location environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP administration, implementation, optimization, and integrations.
- Experience managing retail technology ecosystems, including POS systems, inventory management, e-commerce platforms, and reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, cloud technologies, networking, and infrastructure management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology projects from planning through execution.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- NetSuite certifications are highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Retail or omnichannel business experience.
- NetSuite SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, and SuiteScript knowledge.
- Experience supporting warehouse, inventory, and supply chain operations.
- Background in digital transformation and system modernization initiatives.
