Material Handler – Warehouse Operations
Kelly® is hiring Material Handlers to support warehouse operations and help ensure products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Pay
$17.90 per hour — all available shifts
Available Schedules
- Day Shift: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. - Evening Shift: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
5:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.
Job Duties
As a Material Handler, you will:
- Move materials, supplies, and finished products manually or with a hand truck.
- Load finished products onto pallets and hand trucks.
- Stack skids and pallets in designated storage and staging areas.
- Load and unload freight safely and accurately.
- Pick, pack, inspect, sort, consolidate, wrap, and load customer orders.
- Apply labels according to company and customer requirements.
- Complete shipment confirmations and related documentation.
- Verify freight accuracy and inspect products for damage or infestation.
- Use RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Complete housekeeping and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, cleaning office areas, and properly disposing of trash.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience using RF scanners preferred.
- Ability to follow safety, housekeeping, and sanitation procedures.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, or extended hours as business needs require.
- Ability to work in varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperatures.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 10–50 pounds.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, climb, crouch, stretch, and reach at or above shoulder level.
