Ready to build a class of your own in Carlsbad Village at Happy Blue Marble?
We’re looking for sound healers who want the space and freedom to build their own class and community in Carlsbad Village.
This is a build-your-own-class opportunity. HBM provides the space and infrastructure, but we do not fill your class for you or guarantee attendance. You are responsible for promoting your class and building your own following.
This is an independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is based on paid attendance and grows as your class grows. Build your class to 10 guests and earn up to $150 per class that is up to $75/hour for approximately two hours onsite, including setup and reset.
YOUR WEEKLY CLASS MOVES WITH THE MOON
Happy Blue Marble is guided by the moon. Your class is a **waxing and waning sound bath**, meaning you facilitate every week, but your class day shifts from week to week depending on the lunar calendar.
Same class. Different nights. Guided by the moon.
THE QUICK DETAILS
• Build **one or two weekly classes**
• Your class day changes from week to week with the lunar calendar
• Weekday evenings beginning around 7:00 or 7:30 PM and/or select Sundays at 9:00 AM
• You choose the availability window that works for you and must have flexibility within that window
• Earn up to $150 per class
• Approximately 2 hours onsite, including setup and reset
• You are responsible for promoting and building attendance for your class
• HBM provides the studio, booking/payment system, memory-foam beds, blankets + pillows

Because your class follows the lunar cycle, we need flexibility within the window you choose. **Your weekday class will move to different nights from one week to the next depending on the lunar calendar.**

HBM provides:

You bring **your own style, your own energy and your own sound.**
You may bring your own sound-healing instruments and equipment as well.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an experienced sound healer who:
• Can confidently facilitate a sound bath independently
• Is dependable and comfortable holding space for a group
• Wants to build a consistent class and community
• Is willing to actively promote their class
• Has the flexibility required for a lunar-based schedule
• Wants to become a consistent part of Happy Blue Marble
A NOTE ABOUT MOON CEREMONIES
Happy Blue Marble’s **New Moon and Full Moon ceremonies are signature HBM offerings.**
While facilitating at HBM, our sound healers **cannot independently facilitate or offer their own New Moon or Full Moon ceremonies elsewhere.**
You can absolutely have your own sound-healing practice, teach elsewhere and offer other classes and events. This requirement applies specifically to **New Moon and Full Moon ceremonies.**
CARING FOR THE SPACE
Plan to be onsite for approximately two hours:
• Arrive 30 minutes before class
• Be completely ready 10 minutes before doors open
• Stay approximately 30 minutes afterward to reset and wipe down what you used
Happy Blue Marble is **vegan and single-use-plastic-free.** Any sound-healing equipment or materials brought into HBM must be vegan.
Independent facilitators must carry their own **liability insurance.**
