We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and energetic caregiver to assist an adult with autism in their day-to-day activities. This role involves providing direct support, engaging in social and daily routines, and supporting independence in a safe, comfortable environment.
Schedule & Hours
Hours: 4 to 8 hours per shift (flexible within the 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM window)
Days: Monday-Thurs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and support with daily living activities (meals, personal assistance, restroom, routine tasks).
Assist with transportation or accompaniment to community outings, appointments, or recreational activities.
Encourage skill-building and engaging hobbies.
Maintain a structured, safe, and positive environment.
Requirements
Experience working with individuals (children or adults) with autism, developmental disabilities, or special needs.
Must be able to pass a criminal LiveScan background check.
Must have (or be willing to obtain) CPR & First Aid Certification.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Patient, punctual, and strong communication skills.
