We are currently looking for a Lead Housekeeping Inspector *Must be bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
Principle Responsibilities/Position Purpose:
Responsibilities include inspecting both occupied and check out guests’ rooms after the Room Attendant has cleaned and complied with hotel standards, answer guest and employee calls and request, lost and found responsibilities and room cleaning if necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Inspect rooms, complete reports and verify status reports; Inspects vacant and clean rooms from previous day and reports any discrepancies. Completes work orders as needed when inspection rooms.
Inspects the cash deposit rooms for any missing or damaged items. Informs and follows up with the Room Attendants when a room is requested by Front Desk to be completed ASAP.
Completes reports, towards the end of shift, for all checked rooms. Check the expected departure rooms requested by Front Desk.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.
Promote team member loyalty and empowerment.
Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations the repair and maintenance program as related to guestrooms and public areas.
Assist with other duties as assigned/requested, such as special projects, other positions within the department, etc.
OTHER DUTIES:
Assimilate into Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of exceptional service. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate or equivalent preferred but not necessary.
1 year of housekeeping experience required.
Must be BILINGUAL (English & Spanish)
