The Superfood Company is a growing, gut-friendly beverage brand looking for an outgoing, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our Farmers Market Crew. This is a hands-on sales position where you’ll represent our brand at farmers markets throughout San Diego and Orange County, introduce customers to our products, and help create a positive and engaging market experience.
All shifts begin and end at our warehouse in Carlsbad. Company vehicles, including Sprinter vans and vehicles with trailers, are provided for transportation to and from the markets.
What You’ll Do:
Represent The Superfood Company at farmers markets throughout San Diego and Orange County
Drive company vehicles from our Carlsbad warehouse to assigned markets
Load, unload, set up, and break down market equipment and products
Engage with customers, offer samples, explain our products, and actively drive sales
Work toward individual and team sales goals
Keep the booth clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing throughout the market
Assist with inventory, stocking, and other market-related tasks
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and professionally represent the brand
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable, responsible, and consistently punctual
Comfortable with early mornings, with some shifts beginning as early as 5:00 a.m.
Outgoing, personable, and confident approaching and speaking with new customers
Sales-minded and motivated to meet or exceed sales goals
Positive, energetic, and able to maintain enthusiasm throughout long market days
Comfortable working outdoors and staying active for extended periods
Able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Comfortable driving Sprinter vans and/or vehicles with trailers
Reliable transportation to and from our Carlsbad warehouse
Sales, customer service, farmers market, or event experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 18–21 hours per week. Farmers market shifts are primarily in the morning and may range from approximately 8–12 hours a day depending on the market and travel time.
Early morning availability is essential.
