Compensation: Tree Climber $28-35/hour *Depending on experience

ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THEIR OWN VEHICLE TO GET TO AND FROM JOB SITES. THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE AROUND WORK SITES, AND COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FOR WORKERS TO JOBSITES.
Tree Climber
Job Overview:
As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing tree care operations at height. Your role will include pruning, trimming, and removing trees, as well as providing necessary care to preserve the health of trees. You will use climbing techniques to access trees safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Climb trees safely using ropes, harnesses, and other equipment.
- Prune and trim trees to enhance their health and appearance.
- Safely remove trees when necessary.
- Inspect trees for disease, pest infestations, and structural issues.
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, pruners, and other equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3 years minimum of proven experience in tree climbing and tree care.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus!
- Good knowledge and understanding of tree care and safety.
- Ability to work at height and in varied weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- A valid driver’s license and clean DMV record is preferred so candidates can drive company vehicles.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, No weekends

Descripción del puesto:
Como trepador de árboles, será responsable de realizar operaciones de cuidado de árboles en altura. Su función incluirá podar, recortar y retirar árboles, así como brindar los cuidados necesarios para preservar su salud. Utilizará técnicas de trepado para acceder a los árboles de forma segura y eficiente.
Responsabilidades:
- Trepar árboles de forma segura utilizando cuerdas, arneses y otros equipos.
- Podar y podar árboles para mejorar su salud y apariencia.
- Retirar árboles de forma segura cuando sea necesario.
- Inspeccionar árboles para detectar enfermedades, plagas y problemas estructurales.
- Operar y mantener motosierras, podadoras y otros equipos.
- Seguir todos los protocolos y directrices de seguridad para garantizar un entorno de trabajo seguro.
Requisitos:
- Mínimo 3 años de experiencia comprobada en trepado y cuidado de árboles.
- ¡Se valorará ser bilingüe en español e inglés!
- Buen conocimiento y comprensión del cuidado y la seguridad de los árboles.
- Capacidad para trabajar en altura y en diversas condiciones climáticas. - Excelentes habilidades para la resolución de problemas con atención al detalle.
- Sólidas habilidades de comunicación para colaborar eficazmente con el equipo y los clientes.
- Se prefiere una licencia de conducir válida y un historial limpio en el DMV para que los candidatos puedan conducir los vehículos de la empresa.
Horario de trabajo: Lunes a viernes de 7:30 a. m. a 4:00 p. m., excepto fines de semana.
