While we offer chimney services, air duct and dryer vent cleaning are a major part of our business — and we’re looking for a skilled Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician to join our growing team.
Job Summary: As an Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining residential and commercial HVAC duct systems and dryer vent systems. You will help improve air quality, system efficiency, and reduce fire hazards while delivering outstanding customer service.
You may also have opportunities to cross-train in chimney services to support additional projects throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough air duct cleaning services using industry-standard equipment
- Inspect and clean residential and commercial dryer vent systems
- Identify airflow restrictions, lint buildup, and ventilation issues
- Safely operate vacuum systems, rotary brush systems, and related tools
- Recommend repairs or additional services when necessary
- Educate customers on maintenance, indoor air quality, and dryer vent safety
- Maintain cleanliness and professionalism at customer job sites
- Follow all safety procedures when working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined areas
- Support occasional chimney service projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, HVAC, or related trades preferred
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces
- Ability to lift and handle equipment (50+ lbs)
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to & from work
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Certifications (Not required but a plus):
- NADCA Certification (Air Systems Cleaning Specialist – ASCS)
- OSHA 10 or 30
- HVAC Certification (EPA 608 a plus)
- Fall Protection & Confined Space Training
