Small, boutique nursing facility nestled in the hills of Encinitas is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our cooking team. Our kitchen maintains a high standard and our food service to patients and residents includes love, quality, flavor, and presentation. Cook position is part-time (2 days): 6 AM-2 PM. Qualified candidates will have ability to join an existing enthusiastic and energetic team, uphold facility standards and Health Department regulations, take direction, follow prescribed menus, be creative, and think on their feet. Previous restaurant or nursing facility work helpful, but not necessary. Personal chef or catering experience a plus. We’re interested in quality, not quantity.
