Continental Controls Corporation is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team.
This position plays an important role in making sure incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
• Prepare, package, and process outgoing domestic and international shipments
• Verify quantities, part numbers, packing slips, and purchase orders
• Create shipping labels and prepare required shipping documentation
• Work with UPS, FedEx, and other freight carriers
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Organize and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory areas
• Assist with inventory counts and material movement
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and other departments
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials
• Follow company quality and safety procedures
• Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and enter information into computer systems
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely lift and move typical shipping and receiving materials
• Experience with international shipping documentation is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage: $17.50 per hour
