We are looking for an energetic couple or Individual who would like helping manage TrueGold Golden Retrievers.
We are located in the hills of Escondido near Valley Center and were founded and also currently owned by Dan and Jenny Root. We have been breeding Service Dogs, Therapy Dogs and Family Dogs for over 12 years. Our speciality is in health, cheerful temperament and longevity. We practice comprehensive holistic health care, unique vaccinations schedules and feeding programs. We have bred over 500 pups with only a 1.5% loss to cancer. The national cancer mortally rate for Golden Retrievers is about 65%.
SEEKING KENNEL ASSISTANTS/MANAGER -
True2Gold is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our small, family-run dog breeding business. This is a hands-on role ideal for those who love dogs, work well independently, and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Schedule and pay will be discussed at the in-person interview with the business owners.
For the right candidate(s) a guest room or month-to-month rental is available as a live in accommodation next door in our guest house.
This opportunity would be perfectly suited for a married couple or college student who can alternate shifts and be on-site for puppy and dog sitting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Dedicated, punctual and reliable
Able to lift 40+ Ibs and perform minor physical tasks (bending, scooping, kneeling)
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
No alcohol, drugs, smoking allowed on the property or use prior to coming to work.
SCHEDULE:
Flexible shifts vary. Ideal for those who are able to work early mornings, evenings. Schedule will be set, with additional times as needed. Sometimes we need experienced help to cover our own vacation days or overnight trips.
PAY:
We prefer to work with 1099 contractors who can manage their own taxes and workers comp payments. These contractors then bill us for services rendered. We can discuss this during the interview process.
We Manager level compensation according to experience and qualifications.
