Fieldwork Brewing Company is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead all operations at our Santa Rosa location in Montgomery Village. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-volume, guest-focused environment and takes pride in building strong teams, running a tight operation, and owning the full P&L for the location.
Our Santa Rosa location is a vibrant neighborhood gathering spot, serving handcrafted Neapolitan and Detroit-style pizzas, fresh salads, and shareable small plates, paired with our award-winning craft beers and curated non-alcoholic offerings. We're looking for a General Manager who brings structure, accountability, and positive leadership across the entire taproom while representing Fieldwork's standards to the community we serve.
What You'll Do
-Own full day-to-day operations across front-of-house, back-of-house, and the beer program, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and execution at Fieldwork standards
-Hire, train, coach, and develop a team of shift leads, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff through clear expectations and active leadership
-Manage labor, food and beverage cost controls, and overall P&L performance for the location
-Maintain full compliance with health, safety, alcohol service (ABC), and sanitation standards, including required logs and documentation
-Set and lead the location's operating rhythm: scheduling, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
-Partner with the Director of Operations and Regional Kitchen Manager on labor forecasting, financial targets, and cross-location initiatives
-Ensure recipe adherence, pour standards, and guest experience consistency across shifts
-Conduct performance check-ins, evaluations, and corrective coaching as needed
-Troubleshoot facilities and equipment issues and coordinate repairs with vendors
-Lead special events, private bookings, and brewery-wide initiatives at the Santa Rosa location
-Serve as the primary point of contact for the location, representing Fieldwork to guests, vendors, and the local community
What We're Looking For
-4+ years of general management or multi-role leadership experience in hospitality (brewery or high-volume restaurant preferred)
-Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain teams across front-of-house and back-of-house
-Strong understanding of P&L management, labor cost, and food/beverage cost control
-Hands-on leadership style — comfortable working any station and leading by example
-Organized, detail-oriented, and operationally minded
-Solid knowledge of food safety, alcohol service compliance, and California health codes
-Valid California Food Manager Certification and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
-Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
