RMI Inspections is looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our team as Virtual Vehicle Inspectors. We provide vehicle inspections for rideshare and transportation drivers throughout the U.S. using video chat technology.
This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive knowledge who enjoys working with customers and is comfortable using a smartphone and computer.
POSITION: Virtual Vehicle Inspector/Work From Anywhere
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-Time / Flexible
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct vehicle inspections with customers through video chat
Guide customers through the inspection process and verify required vehicle components
Review and document vehicle information, mileage, VIN, and other required details
Complete inspection forms accurately and submit required documentation
Take clear photos and/or verify photos provided during the inspection
Communicate professionally with customers throughout the inspection
Follow RMI's inspection procedures and requirements
Maintain accurate records and ensure inspections are completed correctly
QUALIFICATIONS
Automotive experience or knowledge preferred
Previous experience as a mechanic, automotive technician, vehicle inspector, or similar position is a plus
Must have a reliable iPhone
Must have a reliable internet connection
Comfortable using a computer, smartphone, video chat, email, and online systems
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be comfortable talking with customers and walking them through a vehicle inspection remotely
ASE certification is a plus but not required.
