We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager. The Operations Manager provides leadership, management, and accountability for the Company’s operations functions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and driving the Company’s priority of 123SQP: Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
This role oversees Production, Packaging, Scheduling, Warehouse, Shipping, Maintenance, and operational execution. The Operations Manager leads through Production Supervisors, leads the Production Scheduler, Warehouse Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and reliable operations.
The Operations Manager is responsible for developing capable supervisors and department leaders while driving schedule execution, labor discipline, warehouse improvement, material flow, equipment reliability, quality follow-up, housekeeping, and operational performance.
This position requires a balanced leadership approach, with meaningful floor presence as well as strong systems, planning, metrics, accountability, and follow-up. The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
- Manufacturing leadership experience in a batch, process, food, beverage, chemical, personal care, cosmetic, nutraceutical, or similar production environment
- Experience leading Supervisors, Leads, hourly production employees, warehouse, scheduling, and/or maintenance functions
- ERP/MRP experience
- Strong Excel and KPI review capability
- Experience using operational data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvement
- Strong understanding of schedule execution, labor efficiency, safety compliance, yield loss, production reporting, and operational follow-up
- Ability to run structured Operations meetings, including L-10 style meetings
- Ability to develop Supervisors while still driving execution
- Practical mechanical aptitude and ability to lead maintenance priorities
- Experience in regulated manufacturing, including FDA, USDA, GMP, SQF, HACCP, OSHA, DOT, EPA, or similar environments.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Food, beverage, chemical, or other batch/process manufacturing experience
- Experience developing Supervisors into accountable department owners
- Experience improving warehouse, inventory, material flow, or production scheduling systems
- Experience supporting capital projects, equipment upgrades, automation, or process improvement
