We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and team-focused candidate for this position within our flagship location in Hillcrest. The primary focus of this position is to run our kitchen operations during service hours, maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, and ensure high quality dishes every time.
Duties:
● Prep food and ensure high quality ingredients are available through inventory management and communication with team leadership
● Complete food tickets with an eye for consistency and quality
● Deliver food directly to customers and provide high quality customer service
● Provide clean dishware regularly throughout service and bus tables consistently
● Assist with welcoming guests, closing out checks, customer service, and assembling flower bouquets
● Maintain a high standard of cleaning practices, including but not limited to opening and closing procedures
● Take initiative to complete guest requests and any tasks or projects assigned by management
Requirements:
● Must be at least 21 years of age.
● Wine and beer knowledge preferred
● Must have a valid San Diego Food Handlers Card
● Excellent communication skills
● Guest service obsessed, solution-oriented, and team minded
● Ability to work a flexible schedule, including consistent Saturday and Sunday shifts
