Precision European Inc has been remanufacturing automatic transmissions for BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles since 1987. We're a small, locally owned team in Fountain Valley — not going anywhere, and looking for a seasoned professional to help keep our accounting systems sharp.
What You'll Do
Manage and maintain our Microsoft Dynamics SL environment (GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Payroll)
Write and troubleshoot SQL Server queries, reports, and stored procedures
Reconcile accounts and ensure data integrity across modules
Suggest and implement improvements — we genuinely want new ideas
What You Need (Non-Negotiable)
Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL — not just data entry, but configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day administration
Strong SQL Server skills — writing queries, building reports, understanding underlying tables and relationships
Solid accounting fundamentals (accrual basis, reconciliations, period-end close)
Must live close enough to work onsite in Fountain Valley
Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry accounting
Familiarity with inventory management or job costing
