Description We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support clinic operations in Providence, Rhode Island through a Contract position. This role combines front-desk coordination, inbound call handling, basic technical support, and administrative follow-up to help clinic staff and partner locations stay organized and responsive. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment when resolving issues, and the ability to keep daily tasks moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming phone calls, respond to routine questions, and connect urgent or specialized matters with the appropriate team members.
Provide on-site support during clinic activity by assisting staff with operational and administrative needs throughout the day.
Handle first-level issue resolution by identifying common concerns and escalating more complex problems to the right internal contacts.
Support basic troubleshooting for field tablets, including access problems, connectivity interruptions, and application performance concerns.
Assist with mobile hotspot devices by addressing charging issues and helping maintain reliable connectivity for clinic use.
Prepare and restock administrative supply bags after clinic events to ensure materials are organized and ready for future sessions.
Carry out general administrative tasks such as confirming flu clinic details with hospital partners and updating related information as needed.
Complete data entry and receptionist-style support duties to maintain accurate records and smooth communication flow. Requirements - Experience in administrative support, office coordination, or receptionist-related work.
Ability to manage inbound calls professionally while providing clear and helpful assistance.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle routine issues independently.
High level of attention to detail and a dependable approach to daily responsibilities.
Comfort using tablets, basic office technology, and common administrative systems.
Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
