Movers By The Sea is hiring a Professional Mover to join our premium moving and packing team. Our clients value careful handling, respectful communication, and attention to detail. We are looking for dependable people who take pride in delivering that experience.
No previous moving experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training in professional box packing, furniture protection, safe handling, and white glove customer service. Experienced applicants who are willing to learn and follow our methods are also welcome.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
This is one position covering the full moving and packing process. Every team member participates in box packing, furniture protection, loading, unloading, and unpacking as assigned, including dedicated packing days.
• Carefully wrap and box household belongings, including dishes, glassware, books, clothing, and delicate décor.
• Select appropriate packing materials, cushion contents, and securely seal and label boxes.
• Protect furniture, floors, doorways, and other surfaces.
• Safely load, secure, unload, and place belongings using company procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as trained and directed.
• Unpack belongings and collect used packing materials when included in the customer’s service.
• Follow the crew lead’s instructions and communicate promptly about questions or concerns.
• Respect customer privacy and maintain clean, organized work areas.

This is physically demanding work involving repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, walking, and stair use. Applicants must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, using appropriate equipment and team assistance.

We are recruiting across San Marcos, Carlsbad, Encinitas, and Escondido.

You must have a dependable way to reach this reporting location on time for scheduled assignments. Work schedules depend on booked services, and start times and daily finish times vary.
PAY AND TRAINING
• Starting base pay: $16.90–$24 per hour, based on relevant skills and qualifications.
• Paid, hands-on training.
• Customer tips are additional, voluntary, and not guaranteed.
• Higher applicable local minimum wages are paid where required.
