We are looking for an experienced Demolition Foreman / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
SUBSTANTIAL DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE TRADE.
THIS IS NOT JUST AN EQUIPMENT OPERATOR POSITION
We are looking for a versatile, experienced demolition and construction professional who is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities on the job.
In addition to operating Caterpillar and Bobcat equipment, this position involves hands-on demolition and construction work, foreman and crew leadership, loading and unloading equipment, transporting equipment with Ford 550, 600, and 650 trucks and small trailers, job-site preparation and cleanup, and assisting with whatever is needed to keep the project moving efficiently.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, physically capable, versatile, and willing to take on different responsibilities throughout the workday. Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATION
You will operate Caterpillar and Bobcat equipment, including:
• Caterpillar 310
• Caterpillar 9308
• Caterpillar 299 Track Skid Steers
• Caterpillar 262 Skid Steers
• Caterpillar 301.7 Excavators
• Caterpillar 300.9 Hybrid Excavators
• Bobcat equipment
Experience operating similar equipment is highly valued.
EQUIPMENT TRANSPORT & JOB-SITE RESPONSIBILITIES
The position includes loading, unloading, running, and transporting small and heavy equipment.
You must be comfortable operating Ford 550, 600, and 650 trucks with small trailers and safely transporting equipment between job sites.
Responsibilities include:
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Transporting equipment to and from job sites
• Safely securing equipment for transportation
• Operating Ford 550, 600, and 650 trucks with small trailers
• Operating heavy equipment on demolition and construction sites
• Performing hands-on demolition and construction work
• Assisting with site preparation and cleanup
• Material handling and general job-site duties
• Stepping in wherever needed to keep the project moving
DEMOLITION FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and coordinate demolition crews
• Manage day-to-day job-site activities
• Direct workers and maintain productivity
• Operate heavy equipment as needed
• Participate in residential and commercial construction projects
• Perform hands-on demolition and construction work
• Communicate effectively with crew members and management
• Make decisions and solve problems in the field
• Maintain a safe and organized job site
