About the Position
We are looking for a dependable and safety orientated driver to join our team. This position involves operating a truck for long haul routes. The ideal candidate has strong driving skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to delivering goods efficiently and safely.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Pick up loaded dry van trailers from company base
• Verify and send paperwork for completed deliveries
• Safely operate a Class A commercial truck on long-distance routes
• Transport and deliver freight across multiple states
• Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure loads and ensure proper handling of freight
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip reports, and documentation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule updates or issues
• Represent the company with professionalism at all customer locations
