Position Overview
We are seeking an Assembly & Quality Control Technician to assist with the assembly, inspection, testing, and quality control of our electric golf vehicles and related components.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position where attention to detail is critical. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling vehicles according to specifications while performing quality checks throughout the production process to identify and correct issues before final delivery.
Assembly Responsibilities
Assemble electric golf vehicles and components according to work instructions and specifications
Install mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, braking, and other vehicle components
Install and route wiring harnesses and electrical components
Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic measuring equipment
Follow assembly drawings, procedures, and production specifications
Verify proper fit, alignment, torque, and installation of components
Maintain an organized and efficient workstation
Work with other production team members to meet daily production goals
Quality Control Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
Inspect incoming parts and components for damage, defects, or inconsistencies
Verify that components are installed correctly and meet company specifications
Check fasteners and critical components for proper torque
Inspect wiring, connectors, terminals, and electrical connections
Verify proper routing and securing of wiring and cables
Check steering, suspension, brakes, wheels, and other safety-critical components
Inspect vehicle fit, finish, alignment, and overall workmanship
Perform functional testing of completed vehicles and systems
Identify defects, missing components, incorrect installations, or other quality issues
Document quality issues and communicate problems to supervisors or production personnel
Perform rework or corrective actions when necessary
Verify that corrected vehicles meet quality standards before releasing them to the next stage
Conduct final quality inspections prior to shipment or customer delivery
Help identify recurring quality issues and recommend improvements
Maintain accurate inspection and quality-control records
Assist in developing and improving assembly and inspection procedures
Follow established quality standards, checklists, and inspection procedures
Stop and report production issues when a vehicle or component does not meet safety or quality requirements
Final Vehicle Inspection
Before a vehicle is released, the technician may be responsible for verifying:
Vehicle starts and operates properly
Accelerator and braking systems function correctly
Steering operates properly and is properly aligned
Wheels, tires, and suspension components are properly installed
Electrical connections and wiring are secure
Lights, switches, displays, and accessories operate correctly
Battery and charging systems function properly
Fasteners are properly installed and torqued
Body panels and components are properly aligned and secured
Vehicle is free from visible defects, damage, or excessive cosmetic issues
All required components and accessories are installed
Vehicle meets the company's final inspection checklist
Qualifications
Previous assembly, manufacturing, automotive, mechanical, electrical, or quality-control experience preferred
Experience with quality inspection or vehicle assembly is a plus
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Comfortable using torque wrenches and basic measuring equipment
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and checklists
Strong attention to detail
Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Dependable and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Ability to work in a production environment and meet reasonable production deadlines
Experience with electric vehicles, golf carts, automotive assembly, wiring, batteries, 12V/48V electrical systems, or manufacturing quality control is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and work in and around vehicles
Ability to safely lift and move parts and materials as required
