NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED BAKERY CHEF / HEAD BAKER
The Local Baker & Café is looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Bakery Chef / Head Baker to join our team!
We are seeking someone who has experience in bakery production and café-style food preparation. The ideal candidate should be reliable, organized, creative, and capable of maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and baked goods
• Assist with creating new menu items and seasonal specialties
• Prepare breakfast and café food items as needed
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation
• Manage kitchen organization and cleanliness
• Monitor inventory and assist with food ordering
• Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements
• Help train and supervise kitchen staff when necessary
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or Chef
• Knowledge of bakery production and food preparation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creative and passionate about food
• Reliable and organized
• Food Handler Certification preferred
Location: Upland, California
