A large commercial provider of janitorial services is seeking a quality Night Area Manager to add to our Ontario team. This Night Area Manager will be housed out of our Ontario, CA office and will have responsibility for a geographic area.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Night Area Manager is a key position. This position is responsible for but is not limited to: working closely with the Account Manager and customer personnel in supervising janitorial employees performing day-to-day and periodic cleaning activities in assigned work areas.
Basic job duties include: training; directing; inspection of trash removal, dusting, spot cleaning, window washing, mopping, vacuuming, washing/scrubbing projects, restroom cleaning, hard floor maintenance (including auto-scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, and burnishing), carpet maintenance (including spot removal, shampooing and extracting), pressure washing, recycling, and restocking of supplies; and other duties as needed.
This is an evening shift position and requires flexibility as well as weekend work.
REQUIREMENTS:
~ Valid California Driver's License (no violations within three years)
~Must demonstrate the ability to lead and direct hourly personnel toward accomplishment of company goals
~ 2 years relevant cleaning experience
~Bilingual: Spanish/English
~Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook.
~Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
~Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
