Are you a natural on camera?
We are looking for a confident, high energy on camera host and content creator to be the face of one of the fastest growing diesel repair brands in the country.
LTEK Diagnostics is a heavy duty diesel truck repair shop specializing in diagnostics for Class 7 and 8 trucks. We work on the trucks that move the entire economy, and the internet loves watching it. Our social media has already done over 100 million views. We are not trying to "get started" on social media. We are trying to dominate the space, and we need someone in front of the camera to help us do it.
This is not a livestreaming job. No selling on live. No 4 hour streams. This is pure content creation: interviews, shop tours, walkthroughs, and short form video that gets shared.
What You Will Actually Be Doing
Client interviews. Our customers are owner operators and fleet managers, real truckers with real stories. You will interview them in the shop, on camera, and pull out the story behind the truck, the breakdown, the business, and the fix. This is the heart of the role.
Host short form content. Talking head videos, shop walkthroughs, "what broke and why" explainers, day in the life clips, trending audio concepts, POV skits. You are the personality that ties it together.
Be the face of the brand. Viewers follow people, not businesses. Over time, you become the person people recognize when they think of LTEK.
Content planning. Bring ideas to the table. Watch what is working in the automotive and trucking space and pitch concepts, not just show up and read a script.
On site production support. Help set up shots, run audio, capture B roll of the shop and the trucks, and keep the shoot moving.
Light editing (a plus, not required). If you can cut your own short form in CapCut or Premiere, that's a plus!
What We Are Looking For
Comfortable on camera.
A people person. You can walk up to a truck driver you have never met, put him at ease, and get a real conversation out of him in five minutes.
Fluent, clear English. Bilingual English and Spanish is a major plus. A large part of our audience and our customer base speaks both.
Consistent and reliable.
Prior on camera experience preferred. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, hosting, live selling, sales, acting, broadcasting, or a strong personal account. Show us anything.
Comfortable in a working shop environment. It is loud, it is greasy, it can be hot. You do not need to know anything about diesel engines. We will teach you what you need to say.
Reliable transportation to our Otay Mesa shop.
18 or older, legally authorized to work in the US.
Schedule
Part time, roughly 8 to 15 hours per week to start, scheduled in blocks (typically one or two shoot days per week during shop hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm). Flexible on which days. There is real room for more hours as we scale output.
Why This Job Is Worth Taking
You build a real portfolio and a personal brand on a page that already has 100 million views behind it, not a page starting from zero.
Creative freedom. If you pitch it and it makes sense, we shoot it.
You learn an industry most creators know nothing about, which makes you rare.
Small team, direct access to ownership, fast decisions. No committee, no ten step approval process.
Real growth path as our content operation scales.
