Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to join our team.
Working Locations (Focused on below areas):
Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Orange, La Habra, Rancho Santa Margarita, Anaheim.
Caregivers will provide in-home support for individuals with developmental disabilities; special needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following (Additional duties may be assigned as needed):
Offer companionship, encouragement, and social engagement.
Follow individualized care plans as outlined by the family, agency and Regional Center guidelines.
Document hours and services provided accurately.
Communicate the issues and needs of the client effectively with supervisors and families.
Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a personal vehicle
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and special needs is a plus. Training is available to all candidates who gets hired.
Must pass FBI/State background check (live scan)
Must pass Drug-Test (THC positive is excluded and acceptable).
Compassion, patience, and communication skills.
Nice to have:
CPR certification and passing TB test results.
Experience in respite care for special need individuals (mostly kids), caregiving, or healthcare.
Experience with handling challenging behaviors.
Knowledge of caregiver responsibilities
Ability to speak multiple languages
Training will be provided for the following:
CPR/First Aid (Candidate with the certifications are preferred)
ABA overview
All required in-home respite care trainings
Opening is available for below working shifts:
Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays
