Seasats builds unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) that operate at sea for months at a time. As we continue to grow production, we're looking for skilled Electronics Assembly Technicians to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role focused on building and assembling the electrical systems that go into our vehicles. You'll be building cable harnesses, terminating and splicing wires, soldering, assembling waterproof electronics, and supporting the installation of motors, sensors, batteries, and antennas. If you're good with your hands, experienced with electrical assembly, and take pride in clean, reliable work, we'd like to talk.
What You’ll Actually Do:
- Measure, cut, strip, splice, and terminate wires and cables
- Build and assemble vehicle cable harnesses
- Solder wires, connectors, and electronic components
- Crimp and install Molex and other electrical connectors
- Pot and waterproof electrical assemblies
- Support assembly of motors, sensors, batteries, antennas, and other vehicle electronics
- Inspect your own and others' work for quality
- Follow and document production processes
- Work with technicians and engineers to improve how we build our vehicles
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong soldering and cable splicing skills
- Experience with electrical or electronics assembly
- Experience stripping cable jackets, tinning wires, and crimping connectors
- Strong attention to detail and good hand/finger dexterity
- Ability to perform precise, repetitive assembly work
- Experience with potting, epoxies, and adhesives
- Reliable, communicative, and able to work well on a team
**5+ years of soldering/cable assembly experience and/or IPC certification preferred.
Compensation & Perks:
- $71,000-$85,000, depending on experience
