NOW HIRING: Warehouse Operations Lead – $22–$24/HR DOE – 1st Shift
HR Direct Services is currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Operations Lead!
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and actively directing the operation. This is not a desk-management position. The ideal candidate will lead by example, coordinate daily workflow, maintain accountability, and ensure inbound and outbound operations are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
PAY & SCHEDULE
Pay Rate: $22.00–$24.00/hour DOE
1st Shift Options:
5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Must be flexible and available to work overtime as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate daily activities of warehouse employees.
Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure deadlines are met.
Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming inventory.
Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed, staged, and prepared for shipment.
Monitor shipping and receiving activity and resolve issues promptly.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Train and coach employees on SOPs, warehouse procedures, and safety requirements.
Hold employees accountable for productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety.
Communicate staffing, order volume, shipping, receiving, and operational concerns to management.
Identify workflow issues and provide solutions to improve productivity.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of Warehouse Lead or Supervisor experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or 3PL environment.
Hands-on experience with WMS systems and RF scanners.
Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound warehouse operations.
Forklift experience preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to confidently direct employees and enforce procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to bring solutions—not just problems—to management.
Customer-focused mindset and understanding of how warehouse performance impacts client satisfaction.
Must be comfortable working hands-on alongside the team.
Must be flexible for overtime.
