This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship Internship Start Date/Season: August 24th, 2026 Internship Duration: 3 months Time/Days Required: Minimum 3 days per week Workplace Requirements: In-office (open to hybrid) We are seeking a motivated and highly organized intern to support the film production company's research and outreach. Please note that this is an unpaid internship. This is a predominantly laptop-based position. The intern will spend much of their time assisting the company's Producers researching prospective investors through LinkedIn, company websites, industry databases and other online networks, before helping to conduct targeted email outreach. Key responsibilities: Research prospective investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices and relevant business contacts Identify individuals whose interests and investment history may align with our film projects Use LinkedIn and other online resources to locate suitable contacts and professional information Find and verify publicly available contact details Maintain accurate prospect lists and outreach records Personalize and send approved introductory emails Track responses and flag promising opportunities for the producing team Follow up with contacts according to an agreed outreach schedule Assist with other online research and administrative tasks as required The ideal candidate: Is confident conducting detailed online research Is comfortable spending extended periods working independently on a laptop Has strong written English and attention to detail Can assess whether a prospective contact is genuinely relevant Is organized, persistent and methodical Communicates professionally and discreetly Has a genuine interest in film, producing, investment or fundraising Is comfortable working with spreadsheets, LinkedIn and email Previous film or investment experience is not required, although familiarity with LinkedIn, online research or professional email outreach would be helpful. Please note: This is a screen-heavy research and outreach role, rather than an on-set production internship. It would best suit someone who enjoys investigative online research, building contact lists and identifying promising leads. You will need to bring your own laptop.
